1. How are international orders shipped and what is the transit time? 
    International Orders are shipped by DHL Worldwide Express. Delivery time varies but is estimated at 7-14 business days, depending on your country’s customs regulations and procedures. If you don’t receive your package within several weeks, check with your local post office and local customs office as they could be holding your package for payment of duties. We appreciate hearing from you when you receive your package so we have realistic estimates to tell our other customers in your country. See Shipping Policy for more information.
  2. What is the difference between Extra Dark JBCO and Jamaican Black Castor Oil? 
    We do not sell extra dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Our Jamaican Black Castor Oil is light in color due to the technique in gently roasting the beans to retain the highest quality of nutritional value in the oil that aids in the growth of our hair, healthy body and skin products.  Burned seeds have no nutritional values.

    Yes, our products are all natural.

    No, we do not test on animals.

  9. What carrier do you use to ship our products?
    Web orders ship via USPS.
  10. Can I change or cancel my order once it has been placed?
    Once you place your order and the purchase has been approved, our system does not allow us to change your order. If the order has not yet been shipped we will provide support to help you cancel your order.
  11. Can I drink Jamaican Black Castor Oil?
    No. Our Jamaican Black Castor Oil is not intended for internal use.
  12. Where do I send my product if it needs to be returned?

  18. How can I become a wholesaler?
    From the menu bar, under customer care, click on wholesale. This will take you to the reseller information form. Fill out information then submit. Please allow 48 – 72 hours for one of our customer account specialist to follow up with you.
  19. Do I need an EIN number to become a wholesaler?
    Yes. This is a standard policy with Tropic Isle Living.
  20. Is Tropic Isle Living the only manufactures of the TIL products?
    Yes, Tropic Isle Living is the sole manufacture of all Tropic Isle Living Products.
  21. Does Tropic Isle Living have a store to pick up products?
    No, Tropic Isle Living does not have a store for retail purchases. However, if you’re in the Atlanta area you can place an order through our website and arrange for pick up from our headquarters between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Monday through Friday.
  22. Can I use the JBCO if I have a tree nut or peanut allergy?
    Tropic Isle Living does not recommend that you use this product if you suffer from a nut allergy. A common name for the castor bean is ‘Nut Oil’.
  23. Can I mix the JBCO with other Oils?
    Yes, you can mix JBCO with other oils.  
  24. Can I take JBCO as a laxative?
    No. Our products are not intended for oral consumption.
  25. Is the product only for ethnic hair?
    No. the Tropic Isle Living Product Line is designed for all ethnicities, textures, and hair types.
  26. Why does my hair itch when I use the Jamaican Black Castor Oil or the Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil?
    ‘The itch’ is due to the amount of yeast build up on the scalp. The more yeast on the scalp the more intense the itch. The product is working to rid the scalp of all fungus through the detoxification process.
  27. My Coconut Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Coco Rosemary, and Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil solidified. Why?
